CTA Digital unlocks your Nintendo 3DS's inflatable race car potential
Forget about Sony and Microsoft. The Wii U? Ha! Everyone knows inflatable race car add-ons are what E3 2012 is all about. CTA Digital is leading the way, doing for the 3DS what it did for the Wii before it, letting players clip their portable console into the giant peripheral's steering wheel. The Inflatable Sports Car is also Wii compatible, for those who are bi-console. You can pick one up for $40 on Amazon, foot pump included. Shoes, clearly, are optional.

Jill and David
?
Hello,
We are Jill and David from Southern California near Santa Barbara.? Thank you for taking the time to get to know us!? By sharing our story with you, we hope to give you confidence that your child will be welcomed with open arms into our family if you select us as adoptive parents. We believe that adoption is a blessing to all involved and as a couple we are excited and ready to adopt a child that we already hold in our hearts and imagine in our dreams.
The two of us married in 1996 having met in the mid-west strictly by chance in 1994.? Neither of us had planned to attend the mid-week event at a local hotspot but at the last minute, Jill took herself and David went with some close friends.?? Jill noticed a cute guy moving through the crowd like he owned the place.? David noticed a new face and she took his breath away.? Trying to decide how to get introduced to her, he came up with the following idea: hand her a napkin with options on it and see how she responds.? Borrowing a pen from a friend, he wrote the following on the napkin with a check-box next to each option:? 1.? I would like to dance.? 2.? I would like to talk.? 3.? I would like to talk and dance.? 4.? I would like you to leave me alone.? Feeling confident but not too cocky, he whisked by dropping the napkin within easy reach of Jill and headed back outside to avoid the disappointment he believed would be option 4.? Two minutes, which seemed like an hour, went by and then suddenly she appeared, handed him the napkin and returned inside.? The option that was checked?? Number 3, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Jill grew up in Wisconsin and moved to California when she was 12.? She is the middle child with an older brother and younger sister.? Her family lives a few miles away and we see them often for birthday parties, football games or other celebrations and enjoy great food, card games, horseshoes or a spirited game of croquet.?? Holidays bring the family together for coloring Easter eggs, trick-or-treating, making and decorating Christmas cookies at our parents and enjoying a Thanksgiving feast or celebrating new year?s and of course, out come all the decorations for the season.
Jill is always actively planning, building or fixing.? She likes to work with her hands sewing a candy corn Halloween costume for a niece or making a holiday dress for our annual New Year?s Party.? There is always time for making a necklace and matching pair of earrings for her sister, changing the yard landscape by planting a new palm tree or cactus and planting vegetables in her parents garden.? On any given day she might be found painting a room at our cabin, or installing a tile or wood floor.? Jill?s activities have earned her a VIP parking spot at Home Depot.
?
Jill has an A.S in graphic design and a B. S. in mechanical engineering and is currently the Quality Assurance Engineer at a local aerospace company where she has been since 2008.? When the baby arrives, Jill plans to work part time from home as much as possible as being a mom will be her first priority.
David spent time in many states while growing up, including those on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts due partly because his dad was in the Navy.? By the time he was 7, his family settled down in Indiana where he spent the next 26 years.? The youngest child with two older sisters,? his sisters loved to sneak up on him while he was sleeping and scare him right out of his speed racer pj?s.? One morning, he snuck out of bed and hid outside their bedroom door as they plotted their next invasion.? Knowing their diabolical plan was imminent; he placed various stuffed animals in the bed and covered them up so it looked like he was still asleep.? As they approached, he hid behind the sofa in the living room, which was nearby.? All at once both sisters pounced on the bed, only to find he wasn?t there.? Let?s just say it was good he could out run them.
Much of the family now resides in Arizona, which is the perfect wintertime spot for our family gatherings during the holidays.? David is very passionate about family, writing, music and sports.? His writing includes a series of short fictional stories about football and the conflict that being a sports official has with maintaining the integrity of a sport that is consistently becoming more about entertainment than about the game.? Often the ?DJ? at family gatherings, David loves to spend time mixing music into play lists that include a wide variety of genres.? He was a varsity athlete in high school and at the time he graduated, was the only student ever to letter in multiple sports, become Drum Major of the high school band and finish academically in the top 20% of his class.
In college, he was vice president of the student government association, master of ceremonies for campus events and graduated with an A.S. in Broadcast Engineering and a B.A. in Mass Communications.? His passion for sports led to becoming a high school and NCAA football official.? He has the biggest heart and will help anyone who asks and often anonymously helps even those who don?t ask.? Having worked in many industries including radio and television, David is currently an architect in the Information Technology field for a local bank.
?
Our home is comfortable, warm and welcoming and a bedroom awaits the laughs and dreams of a child that will grow up in our house located in a cul-de-sac on a quiet street.? Year round, you can smell the freshness of the air from the Pacific Ocean, just 3 miles away.? Around the corner from our home are wonderful schools, a library, and a couple of parks, shopping and several places of worship.? Bordered by beautiful mountains with many trails for hiking or bike riding, our neighborhood is safe and has many families with children.? There are also two great colleges in the immediate area.? Together we take walks on the beach, ride bikes down town to the wharf to get a cup of clam chowder, play tennis at a local club and swim in our parents pool.? Both of us are very active in our community as volunteers and activity coordinators for local non-profit organizations.
Family is an important part of our lives and we spend a lot of time with them.? There are lots of relatives and loving, doting grandparents waiting to play with our son or daughter.? Weekends we visit with family and friends, enjoy area festivals or community functions, putter around the house and do the grocery shopping.
Visiting our cabin in Las Padres National Forest is where we go to relax and enjoy all four seasons to the full extent.? There is always something fun to do at the cabin like going hiking through the pine trees and over the hills, playing tennis and swimming at the community center.? Making snow angles and snowmen during a snow storm and then warming up by the fire drinking hot chocolate and roasting marshmallows after a good snow ball fight is a winter time tradition.
The two of us can?t wait to share our various activities such as attending theater performances, dance, piano and singing recitals, parades and cheering at ball games with our child as we do now with our nieces.?? We look forward to all the joys and challenges of parenting.? Since we believe that nothing is greater than the imagination of a child, he or she will get lots of attention from both of us.? We will teach strong morals and values in a loving, safe and secure home.? We?ll support them when they struggle, applaud when they do well and offer guidance when they make mistakes. We?ll support opportunities to develop his or her own interests, talents and skills.? We?ll nurture their self-esteem, develop a joy for learning and encourage her or him to pursue activities that bring them happiness.
If you choose us, your child will grow up in a home filled with love, compassion, trust, and laughter and as often as needed, bedtime stories!
In closing, we thank you for taking the time to read and learn some about us.? We would be honored to be part of your adoption plan and would like to get to know you.? Whatever you decide, we truly wish you all the best in making this important decision for your child.

Sony's future gaming console will keep have an optical drive by VR ...
Cloud gaming services such as Valve?s Steam are stirring up the traditional brick and mortar gaming market, but according to WSJ.com, Sony will not abandon the optical disk in its next gaming console.? Hence, the days of people collecting physical copies of video games may not come to an end after all.
In 2013, Sony will release the PlayStation 3?s successor with improved hardware while maintaining most of the same business strategies.? Sony has reported profit from its PS3 platform the last two years, and Sony?s Chief Executive, Kazuo Hirai, hopes that the new console will continue to rake in the profits.
Many brick and mortar companies that associate themselves with Sony will be at risk of incurring huge losses in revenue if Sony did decide to go the downloadable content only route in the next Sony gaming console.? GameStop, a major outlet for many PS3 games, agrees that it will need to transition to a cloud system of distributing gaming titles to remain relevant in the gaming market.? However, as with any major industry transitions, it will take some time to adopt.
"If we all agree the technology is inevitable?which I think it is because it's like death and taxes?it's still going to take longer to happen than it did for music and movies," GameStop?s CEO, Paul Raines, commented about the gaming market?s transition to a cloud based platform.?
Perhaps Sony is trying to maintain a good relation between itself and its business partners by opting to keep the optical drive as the main mean of software decoding.? However, that does not mean that Sony is unaware of the inevitable market transition to the clouds.? Sony intend to integrate more downloadable contents into its future console, more than it currently has in its PS3 console.?
In addition to maintaining good relationships with its partners, Sony believes that worldwide internet connections are not stable enough for it to make a complete transition to downloadable only contents.? Sony wants its product to be in the hands of as many people as possible, and to make a product that requires a fast and stable internet connection only limits that objective.
Until Sony releases a cloud only console, those of us that have shelves of PlayStations CDs, DVDs, and Blu-rays may continue tout our tangible collections for the world to envy.

The ' Secret ' To a Life Of Mindful Abundance ? headline news
The ?Secret? to a Life of Mindful Abundance WILLINGNESS to allow change to take place. Frequently I talk with people who say that they want to be prosperous and live a life of Mindful Abundance, yet are unwilling to make any changes in what they are thinking. It doesn?t happen that way. You must look at your belief system. By that I mean, what do you think/believe abundance is? Too often we think of abundance or prosperity as no bills and having a pocketful of money. But true abundance is so much more. Don?t limit yourself. When you are willing to change what you believe it is, you are well on your way to reaching abundant living..
ONLY look for the good in your life. Find the good where you are now. Are you involved in a ?pity party?? Here?s how that goes? Woe is me, I have no money, I have a lousy job, no one appreciates me, I live in a low rent area and nothing is happening for me. Turn it around! Take the time to look for the good. Isn?t it a good thing that you have a job? Isn?t a good thing that you have a home? Of course it is! Focus on those things. I know that you want a change. What does it look like? Most people cannot see the forest for the trees! Start being specific. What will your home look like when you are financially independent? What will it look like when things are happening for you? When you begin to see only the good in your life and circumstances you will be on your way to reaching living a Life of Mindful Abundance. RELAX, be quiet and allow the process to take place. Patience is required. I know because on the list of the things that I want to change in my life patience is way up there! Yet when I relax, become quiet and allow the process to flow through me, it always does. Sometimes so quickly that I am astounded. Too often I try to ?help? the process along. My prayer becomes,? Lord help me, RIGHT NOW.? I try to accomplish everything on my time schedule. I try to ?force? my good, I struggle with it and as a result I get in the way of my own good which merely delays bringing it into my life. A man was once praying and he asked God, ?What is a million dollars to you?? and God answered, ?Tis but a penny.? And the man asked God, ?What is a million years to you?? and God answered, ?Tis but a second.? And the man coyly asked, ?God, give me a penny? And a loving smiling God answered, ?In a second.? This little story points out that you need to allow the process to flow through you. Get out of the way, be patient and relax. All good things are on the way. KNOW that what you desire is already in place waiting for you to collect it. The challenge here is to keep your thinking on unlimited supply. Many people think that their source comes from an employer or by having a good job. We?ve all heard the statement, ? ?get a good job and you will get ahead.? That has never been true and it?s not true today. This thinking occurs when we try to identify who we are by what we do. Recognize that abundance and prosperity comes to you from many directions, not necessarily the direction you choose. I recently had the opportunity to see this very thing happen in my experience. I was focused on a joint venture project and knew that this was going to be profitable (?and it is?), however, during the building stages the revenue was a little slow. I didn?t let the concept of lack enter into my thinking or get in the way and as a result revenue came from three different directions to fill the all my needs and then some. Hold onto the thought that what you desire is already in place waiting for you to collect it. Have you found the ?secret?? The real secret is found in the first word in each of the first four paragraphs. It is a word that does not appear in any of those paragraphs, yet it is the key to living a Life of Mindful Abundance. Can you see it? No? Narrow it down to the first letter in those words and look again. Now you have it! It takes WORK! Too many people think that they can get something for nothing. Using the Internet as a means of communication it is easy to slip into that thinking. Ad after ad proclaims ?FREE? this and ?FREE? that. I regularly see things that say, ??I?ll do the work for you.? Or allude to riches beyond your wildest dreams and you don?t have to do anything. NOT! I read an article that said there is enough cash money in the world for every man, woman and child on the planet to have 1.5 Million Dollars if there was a way to distribute it evenly. Even if that were done today, within five years today?s ?poor? people would once again be poor unless they change their thinking. Today?s wealthy would again posses great fortunes because they are willing and eager to work. They know and now so do you, that work is more than a function. It is an attitude that will lead you to financial independence. Right now be: *Willing to change, *Only look for the good, *Relax, be patient and *Know your desires are being met. Not sure where to start? Perhaps we should get together! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Rob works with individuals who are experiencing a sense of lack of direction or purpose in their lives. Research: More than 50M Wireless Health Monitoring Devices to ...
New research out recently by IMS Research pegs the total number of wireless health devices shipped over the next five years at more than 50 million. ?Interestingly, the firm suggests that consumers, not telehealth patients, will drive the most adoption of such devices.
According to the report, dubbed ?Wireless Opportunities in Health and Wellness Monitoring ? 2012 Edition,??medical devices bought by consumer to self-monitor their health will account for more than 80 percent of all wireless-enabled consumer medical devices in 2016. ?The demand for self-monitoring one?s health, however, is growing much faster than that for telehealth implementation, according to the report.
Even without healthcare systems that are adapted for this, consumers want to be able to monitor and manage their own health at home. ?However, the proportion of wireless devices used in managed telehealth programs is forecast to increase from just 5 percent in 2011, to 20 percent in 2016 as telehealth deployment grows. ??Due to the relatively slow deployment of managed telehealth systems, which is in part due to a reluctance from health providers to move past trials, issues with reimbursement, and stringent regulations related to the use and storage of medical data, medical devices used by the consumer to independently monitor their health will provide the biggest uptake of wireless technology in consumer health devices over the next five years,? explained?Lisa Arrowsmith, senior analyst at IMS Research.
The full report is available for download here, and includes a full assessment of the?uptake of 10 connectivity technologies in five consumer health monitoring devices, five types of dedicated health hubs (with addition segmentation between managed telehealth devices and consumer medical devices), and five sports and fitness monitoring devices.
